Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the oldest surviving medical system and has been producing positive results for patients around the world for over 2,500 years.

Chinese Medicine is energy medicine. A complete approach to wellness that focuses on resolving the root causes of health issues rather than just treating the symptoms on the surface.

In addition to acupuncture and cupping, our studio utilizes a range of modalities to treat pain, promote balance, and help your body heal naturally. A single treatment session may include the use of multiple modalities depending on what your body needs.

OUR OFFERNINGS

FACIAL REJUVENATION

Return your skin’s natural radiance and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Facial Rejuvenation is a natural beauty practice that non-invasively reduces and prevents skin aging and gives your face a healthy glow.

Combining acupuncture and gua sha massage, the treatment improves circulation, increases collagen production, lifts and tones sagging facial muscles, and reduces or eliminates fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles or under-eye puffiness.

We recommend a series of 6-12 treatments within a 6 week period to see the best results.

GUA SHA

Though popularized for its use as a natural facial rejuvenation tool, Gua Sha offers so many applications and benefits for the entire body.

Used to treat pain and relieve tension, Gua Sha is a form of massage using a smooth flat tool to gently scrape the skin. It soothes chronic muscle and joint pain by increasing circulation at treatment points to reduce inflammation, while also breaking up scar tissue and adhesions in the muscle.

Gua Sha has helped our clients find relief from tension headaches, chronic neck pain, muscle and joint inflammation, and more.

E-STIM ACUPUNCTURE

A modern enhancement to traditional acupuncture healing. E-stim, also known as Electrical Stimulation Therapy or Electroacupuncture, involves the application of gentle electric currents to acupuncture points.

As with traditional acupuncture, needles are placed at specific points on the body, depending on what we’re treating. An electrode clip is attached to the needles, and a small amount of electricity is applied.

E-stim treatments feel very subtle and are shorter than a traditional acupuncture treatment, as the electrode stimulation can activate your acupuncture points more quickly and cover larger areas of the body.

We use e-stim to help soothe pain from musculoskeletal issues, muscle sprains, and spasms. It also helps treat menstrual disorders, infertility, and neurological issues.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion is the stimulation and warming of acupuncture points through burning Ai Ye, a healing herb also known as mugwort. The gentle warmth of the burning moxa increases the flow of Chi throughout the body’s meridians.

This modality improves circulation, increases energy, helps relieve pain from menstrual issues or PMDD, and can even be used to help breech babies turn.

BODYWORK

Find Your Chi utilizes bodywork and massage practices that go deeper than even deep tissue - they address and unblock energetic knots.

Tui Na, meaning “pinch and pull”, is considered to be the oldest method of bodywork, originating in ancient China. The massage techniques used are not intended to simply provide relaxation, but to promote healing, restore balance, and bring the body back into energetic harmony.

We also use Qi Gong methods of movement and breathwork, and we encourage and guide our clients through meditation and mindfulness practices that help them find their center.

HERBAL REMEDIES

Natural herbal supplements are used to provide nourishment and balance. Our patients utilize consistent regimens or as-needed doses to help with a wide variety of issues, from stress and anxiety to insomnia, fertility, allergies, immunity, and more.

Recommendations are tailored to your specific needs and will be adjusted as your needs change. We stock a variety of adaptogenic herbal blends, and only recommend what will be truly beneficial and impactful for you.

AT-HOME INTEGRATION

We focus on tapping into the root of problems to accomplish long-term healing. This work often goes beyond the treatments we provide in the studio. We work with each patient to suggest and encourage specific at-home treatments, therapies, and wellness practices that will supplement and expedite acupuncture treatments.

We also support the integration of Eastern and Western medicine to find treatment options that work best for each client’s unique needs.
